Shalulile opens premier league account …as Yanga Begin title defence

Namibian international striker Peter Shalulile opened his account in the Tanzania Premier League on Saturday, scoring his first goal for Young Africans Sports Club (Yanga) in their 3–1 victory over Namungo FC at the Majaliwa Stadium.

Shalulile, who recently completed his move to the Tanzanian giants from South African champions Mamelodi Sundowns, marked his league debut with a goal as Yanga got their title defence off to a winning start.

The victory comes just a week after Yanga lifted the Tanzanian Community Shield following their victory over arch-rivals Simba SC, setting the tone for what they hope will be another successful campaign.
