THE Prime Minister, Dr Elijah Tjitunga Ngurare, has officially launched Erongo SUNAM Desalination (Pty) Ltd and the Erongo SUNAM Desalination Project – a joint venture between NamWater and Swakop Uranium that aims to deliver about 20 million cubic metres of desalinated water annually.
“The entity we launch today, Erongo SUNAM Desalination (Pty) Ltd, is not merely a commercial arrangement. It is a strategic instrument of national policy,” Ngurare said.
