The 2026 Bank Windhoek Coastal Maths Challenge has once again showcased the mathematical talent of coastal learners, with more than 2 000 Grade 8, 9 and 10 learners taking part in this year’s competition aimed at developing problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

The second and final round of the annual challenge was held on 17 June 2026 at Walvis Bay Private School, following the first round on 14 February, which attracted 2 037 learners from 13 coastal schools. Learners from 12 schools qualified for the final stage.
