ISLAMABAD, June 26 — Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Friday that Pakistan remains firmly committed to eliminating drug abuse and illicit trafficking, reaffirming the country’s resolve to protect society from the scourge of drug abuse.

In a message marking the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, Sharif said the government is strengthening national capacities, enhancing institutional coordination, and expanding cooperation with international partners to combat illicit trafficking.
