GOBABIS – Maihapa Ndjavera, a development planner at the Ministry of Industries, Mines and Energy in the Omaheke region, stated that the recently completed outreach programme in Otjinene and Epukiro constituencies served as an eye-opener for both the ministry and the community.
The engagement programme, in line with the Ministry’s decentralisation, began on 13 July 2026 in the Okahungu settlement of Otjinene constituency and continued to Epukiro, concluding on 24 July 2026 at Okanguindi village.
The community was informed about how to obtain a liquor license, register a business, available business advisory services, the solar revolving fund, and grants offered by the Ministry.
Speaking to New Era on Sunday, Ndjavera said visits to both constituencies exceeded the Ministry’s expectations, with excellent turnout from community members.
