Kavango West governor Verna Sinimbo said more than N$70 million has been invested in education and energy infrastructure to improve learning conditions and expand electricity access across the region.

Sinimbo, during her State of the Region Address (Sora) in Nkurenkuru on Friday, said phase one of the upgrading of Bravo Boarding School is underway, with completion expected in May 2027, and a new primary school is being built at Maporeza in the Nkurenkuru constituency.
She said further investments include additional classroom blocks, laboratories, libraries and ablution facilities at several schools, among them, Cause and Gava primary schools in Mpungu Constituency, Mburuuru Primary School in Tondoro, Rupara Combined School and Gcwagi Primary School in Musese, Katjinakatji Secondary School in Mankumpi, Sharukwe Combined School in Ncuncuni and Nakazaza Combined School in Kapako.
