A man convicted and sentenced to 14 years imprisonment for allegedly raping a minor (14) is seeking to appeal his conviction in the Supreme Court.
The convict, who shall not be named to protect the identity of the minor, appeared this week in the Windhoek Prison Court.
He was sentenced in 2024 in the Windhoek Regional Court on one count of rape.
Aggrieved by the conviction, he logged an appeal against the conviction in the High Court, but the appeal fell short.
