The Exploitation of Workers Must End

Domestic workers, cleaners, security guards, labourers and nannies are essential to our economy, yet they frequently face exploitation and abuse that leaves them economically vulnerable, physically unsafe, and socially marginalised.

Workers who keep our streets clean and our homes running deserve respect, not ill treatment. Human rights are being violated, with security guards and other employees working long hours with no days off or overtime pay. They sometimes endure arbitrary deductions, and their salaries are at times delayed.

Wage theft is not an accounting error; it is cruelty. To avoid victimisation they choose to endure difficult working conditions and abuse in order to survive.
