MAPUTO, June 2– At least five Mozambican nationals have been killed in recent anti-immigrant attacks in South Africa, according to a report by the Mozambique News Agency on Monday. The report said the incidents occurred in Mossel Bay, located in South Africa’s Western Cape Province. As of June 1, about 800 Mozambican citizens had either returned home voluntarily or been repatriated from South Africa, the report said.
