Erongo Governor Demands Local Seat at Water Decision-Making Table

Erongo Governor Dr Nathalia /Goagoses has called on central government to formally include regional leaders and local water experts in all major water governance structures, saying the region should no longer be excluded from decisions affecting its future.

Speaking during the Africa Public Service Day commemoration in Swakopmund last week, /Goagoses announced that the Erongo Regional Council has established the Erongo Water Forum, a committee mandated to coordinate water-related matters in the region.
