Eliphasine Jeree Kaapaa Nguvauva is a dedicated public servant, whose path to becoming a senior librarian has been shaped by resilience, determination and an unwavering belief in education’s transformative power.
Currently serving as a Business and Research Senior Librarian at the Omaheke Regional Library in Gobabis, Nguvauva served as a Senior Librarian at Tallesmanus Community Library from 2023 to 2025.
There, she worked closely with community members to promote reading, access to information and lifelong learning.
Her journey
Nguvauva, a resident of Oruvize village in the Epukiro constituency of the Omaheke region, began her education in the capital, attending Bethold Himumuine Primary School before continuing at St. Barnabas Primary School.
She later completed her secondary education at Academia High School, where she laid the foundation for a career focused on education, information and service.
