Communications regulator dismisses Starlink licence appeals

The Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia (CRAN) has officially closed the door on Starlink’s prospects in the country, dismissing all formal requests to reconsider its previous refusal to grant the satellite internet provider a license.

The regulator on Monday confirmed that it has dismissed all requests for reconsideration relating to its 23 March decision to decline the licence applications.
