NSFAF refunds next week

Auleria Wakudumo Students funded by the Namibia Students Financial Assistance Fund are expected to begin receiving their non-tuition allowances from next week. This follows engagements between the education ministry, the Students Union of Namibia (SUN) and NSFAF. In a media statement issued yesterday, education ministry Executive Director Mbumba Haitengela reassured students and the public that government remains committed to ensuring uninterrupted access to higher education and training opportunities.

Haitengela said NSFAF continues to process institutional invoices received since April 2026 for both tuition and non-tuition support. He added that advance payments had already been made to institutions to facilitate student registration and academic participation. “Payment processing remains ongoing, and NSFAF teams are working diligently to ensure that all legitimate payments are finalised as expediently as possible,” the ministry said.
