THE Namibia Sports Commission (NSC) has awarded a combined N$774 000 to five national sports federations in recognition of outstanding medal-winning performances by Namibian athletes at African and international competitions.
The funding, announced during a press conference in Windhoek by NSC Chief Administrator Dr Freddy Mwiya, has already been transferred to the federations and will reward athletes and coaches who secured gold, silver and bronze medals during the first quarter of 2026.
