The sixth edition of the Nedbank Citi Dash was launched yesterday, with the organisers saying they aim to break through the 5 000 entrant barrier.
Event organiser Frank Bombosch yesterday said the event, slated for 6 September, has shown significant growth since its launch in 2017.

“The Nedbank Citi Dash continues to grow into one of Namibia’s leading mass participation lifestyle and running events. What started as a city run has evolved into a national platform for health, movement, community connection, and active living.
“Since Cycletec took over the event in 2017, the vision has remained clear: turning Namibia into a running nation,” he said.
