President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has made it clear that she is willing to be a “disruptive President” if disruption is necessary to remove obstacles that hinder service delivery and accelerate Namibia’s development.

“What constraint requires Cabinet or Presidential intervention? I said that I am going to be a disruptive President. I will disrupt for the sake of the Namibian people. I will disrupt,” she said.
The President made these remarks at the Public Enterprises Breakfast, held at the Namibia Institute of Public Administration and Management (NIPAM). The engagement brought together chief executive officers (CEOs) of public enterprises to reflect on their role in advancing the implementation of the Sixth National Development Plan (NDP6), strengthening economic growth and contributing to Namibia’s national development priorities.
