A woman (24) in the Omusati region has been arrested after allegedly trying to drown her twins (9 months) in a pond at Omutundungu village in the Etayi constituency. Omusati regional commander commissioner Ismael Basson says the incident took place on Saturday at around 16h20 in an open space in the village. The woman, who is the twins’ biological mother, allegedly threw the babies into the pond and left.
