//Kharas police lauded for crime clearance

KEETMANSHOOP – //Kharas Governor Dawid Gertze has praised the Namibian Police in the region for achieving a 41% crime clearance rate, saying officers continue to serve with dedication despite facing significant policing challenges.

Speaking during his State of the Region Address (Sora) on Monday, Gertze said safety and security remain the cornerstone of development and progress in the region.

“Our collective journey toward development begins with the assurance that every citizen, every home, and every community live under the shield of safety. For it is within the walls of peace that progress is built, and through the strength of security that prosperity finds its voice,” he said.
