Reaffirming its commitment to building opportunities for the future and empowering young learners to make informed career choices, Namdeb hosted its inaugural Career Fair in Oranjemund from 17 to 18 July 2026.
According to a press release, the event brought together professionals, educational institutions and industry representatives to showcase diverse career pathways, with a strong emphasis on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM).
The statement further indicated the fair to be organised in collaboration with the //Kharas Regional Council and directorate of education, innovation, youth, sport, arts and culture. Schools from the surrounding areas were invited to participate, with attendance from Oranjemund Private School, CambriLearn Tutor Centre, Ambrosius Amutenya Primary School, !Garibams Secondary School (GSS), and Tsau //Khaeb Secondary School from Rosh Pinah.
